ESL Pro League returns to Odense - announcing season 8 finals!

We are thrilled to announce that ESL Pro League will be returning to Odense, Denmark, for its season 8 finals. After competing for 5 weeks in online matches, starting October 2nd, the best teams will compete in the Sparekassen Fyn Arena for the coveted trophy, a US$1,000,000 prize pool, and a win counting towards the Intel Grand Slam.

  • When: 4-9 December 2018
  • Where: Sparekassen Fyn Arena
  • Schedule: group stage matches - December 4 to 6, playoffs - December 7-9
  • Teams: 16 in total - 7 EU, 6 NA, 2 APAC, 1 SA
  • Format: 2 groups of 8 teams, double elimination group stage (opening matches bo1, rest bo3); 6-team single elimination playoffs (semifinals bo3, grand final bo5)

For the very first time, the group stages of the Pro League Finals will be played out in front of a live audience, kicking off on December 4-6. A limited amount of tickets will be available.

The main event ticket sales start on Thursday, June 7 at 3pm CEST. Fans who attended last year’s Pro League finals will get the chance to secure their tickets in a pre-sale.
